Belizean Education Empowerment Foundation - Belize City

Thirty-nine years after independence, “many Belize youth are not fully able to participate in Belize’s social and economic development because of a lack of educational opportunity” (Lewis, 2000, p. 3). The Belizean Education Empowerment Foundation focuses on providing services and programing to youth, ages 5-23, while providing continuing education, professional training, and support to the Belizean people.
The Belizean Education Empowerment Foundation was founded in July of 2017 in response to the education gaps within the Belizean education system. BEEF is committed to providing resources, empirical research, and services to Belizean citizens across the world.
